My first poem:

Goodbye
I look into the mirror,
But all I see is horror.
Those eyes are as cold as ice.
And if I want to be precise,
It's dead on the outside,
But scared on the inside.

I stand outside,
Trying not to hide,
From the truth that I know so well,
Which will make my heart swell.
But before that, one last time,
For me to go back to the past time.

I see the big park,
It lingers in the dark.
The green trees tall and firm, like bodyguards,
Protecting the earth from storms afterwards.
It's amazing and awesome,
That this scene meant home sweet home.

I hear its bell.
I smell its smell.
Its puppy eyes staring at me.
Pleading me to agree.
But how can I say no,
With its chocolate brown eyes wanting to know.

As I walk the neighbourhood,
Trying to find the mood,
I bump into friends,
Chatting along as the friendship expands.
As time flies by,
It's time to say goodbye...

Finally I open my eyes.
The sight before me makes me cry.
Goodbye my pet.
Goodbye my friends.
Goodbye my home
And goodbye my life!
